Millie Franz is a contemporary fine art photographer whose work explores both figurative photography and environmental imagery, blending the human form with landscape, light, and atmosphere. Her photographs carry a strong sense of composition and narrative, creating images that feel both intimate and cinematic.

Franz works closely with her daughter, Ilkaa, and together they founded Ilkaa’s Fine Art Gallery & Atelier in 2022. The gallery first opened on East Main Street in Columbus, establishing a space dedicated to fine art photography and curated photographic works.

Now located at 785 East Broad Street, the gallery has transformed the historic Joseph-Cherrington House into a new exhibition space for photography and visual arts. The new location opens to the public May 16, continuing the gallery’s mission of presenting museum-quality photography while supporting both established, living and emerging artists.
