At dusk in Río Lagartos, Mexico, flamingos gather in shallow waters tinted pink by the setting sun. Their curved necks and mirrored movements create a composition that feels almost choreographed.
Drawn by the richness of the estuary, these birds feed on brine shrimp that give them their vivid coral hue. Though its name translates to “Alligator River,” Río Lagartos is in fact a vast coastal wetland—home to crocodiles, migratory birds, and delicate ecological balance.
